Kronk Boxing Fundraiser

TO BENIFIT THE AILING KRONK GYM
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DETROIT, MI, DECEMBER 27, 2005 - On Thursday February 2, 2006 the opulent Fisher Building in Detroit's New Center area will be transformed into a world class boxing venue for the first as "Fight Night at the Fisher" comes to the downtown ladmark. Doors open at 8pm. The event will help support the Emanuel Steward Foundation and the financially trouble Kronk Recreation Center in Detroit.

The event featuring professional and amateur fights, will be headlined byh heavyweight Jonathon "KO Kid" Banks of Detroit vs. Michael Word from Milwaukee. The evening will include bouts by Octavio "Kronk Protege" Lara and Aaron Pryor Jr. Also on the card; several young and up and coming, future male boxing stars including Isaiah "Superstar" Thomas, Ali "Prince of Dearborn" Eljahmi and Joseph Bonaf, 2005 Michigan Junior Olympic Champion. Professional matches are eight to ten rounds. Amateur matches will go three rounds each.

Special invited guests and scheduled to appear at "Fight Night at the Fisher" include: Eminem, 50 Cent, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Prince Naseem Hamed, Jim Lampley and Bob Costas.

Ticket prices range from $500-$2500 and include beverages and hors d'oeuvres. Luxery ticket holders receive ringside, or near ringside seating and the opportunity to attend a pre-bout dinner in honor of Emanuel Steard at the Grand City Grille as well as an afterglow. The evening includes a live auction that will feature Kronk Boxing Memorabilia.
